1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on Scanner (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Platform.
2. Account Registration and Approval
All accounts require administrative approval before access is granted. Upon registration, your account will be in a “Pending” state until a platform administrator reviews your information and assigns the appropriate role (Clinic, Operator, Lab, or Ops).
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- The platform reserves the right to reject or revoke account access at its discretion
- Role assignment is determined by platform administrators based on verified credentials
3. Service Description
Scanner is a managed mobile intraoral scanning operations platform that connects dental clinics with field operators and dental laboratories. The service includes:
- Scan request management and serviceability verification
- Operator assignment and visit scheduling
- STL file upload and quality control workflows
- Lab order placement and tracking
- Wallet-based billing for scan services
4. Scan Services and Wallet
Scan services are billed per scan through the platform wallet system. By submitting a scan request, the clinic authorizes a wallet debit for the applicable scan fee. The scan fee will be communicated before confirmation and is subject to change with notice.
- Wallet balance must be sufficient to cover the scan fee at the time of request
- Refund and cancellation policies are subject to the terms communicated at the time of booking
- Failed visits due to operator issues will be handled per our operational policy
5. STL Files and Case Data
STL files and case data uploaded to the platform are stored securely and shared only with authorized parties:
- Clinics own the patient data and STL files they submit
- Operators upload STL files on behalf of clinics as part of the scan service
- STL files are shared with assigned labs only when a lab order is placed
- The platform does not claim ownership of uploaded content
6. Quality Control
All uploaded scans are subject to quality control review by platform operations staff. If a scan is flagged for retake, the clinic will be notified and a new visit may be scheduled. Scans that pass QC will proceed to the lab ordering phase.
7. Lab Orders
When a clinic places a lab order through the platform, the order details and associated STL files are shared with the selected lab. Pricing and turnaround times displayed on the platform are set by the lab and may be updated. The platform facilitates the order but does not manufacture lab products.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform to:
- Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or system resources
- Use the platform for purposes other than its intended dental scanning operations
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
9. Liability Limitation
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
